Joseph Guazzoni was born at Le Cannet, a pretty cith from Les
Alpes Maritimes where lived Pierre Bonnard and Francis Picabia. His
father, Mr Guazzoni Désiré, is at first the assistant
of Pierre Bonnard's canvases and becomes afterward an assistant of
the decorations of theater of the city of Cannes.
Joseph enters to the academy PAVEC (Grand Prix de Rome) where he learns
the bases of the classic painting.
But it is within his studio that he asserts himself as a confirmed
artist, where he develops his art of a way self-taught, drawing his
inspiration within the nature and the decorations composing the Alpes
Maritime's relief. |
